Cobra 2D is an economical non-contact measuring system for quickly scanning any part or surface to produce a high resolution, two dimensional profile. It's ideal for fragile or pliable parts.

Cobra 2D combines field proven DRS (Dynamic Range Sensor) technology, a computer controlled moving sensor, and data analysis software to produce a versatile laser profile scanner. Since Cobra 2D scans by moving the DRS sensor over the surface, there's no special fixturing required. You can mount Cobra 2D on a benchtop, install it in-line to take in-process measurements, or place it directly on or over a larger component. It's quick and easy to measure height, area, length, surface roughness, slope, and radius.
