Adding a DRS (Digital Range Sensor) Laser Probe to your SmartScope
ZIP, Avant ZIP, Avant ATS, Avant Apex, or SmartScope Quest
gives you high density surface profiles through sophisticated
laser triangulation.
The DRS laser is thoroughly integrated into and supported
by our MeasureMind 3D MultiSensor software. Both line and
area scans may be automatically programmed to deliver high
resolution Z axis profiles as part of a measurement routine.
A variety of DRS laser probes are available, each with its
own unique capture range, standoff distance, and resolution.
On certain SmartScope Quest models, the DRS laser probe is
deployable, and retracts conveniently out of the way when
not in use.
